Testimonials

  • feel much more confident

We feel much more confident to help our second child with this. We were dreading it! Cathy is an excellent communicator and has is a non-judgmental approach. We have learnt a lot. Worth every penny!

  • made me feel less stressed

It’s made me feel less stressed about him taking a step back for a while. I’ll just continue to wait for him to be ready for the final step of big boy pants.

  • really helpful

The workshop was really helpful. We are just at the beginning of this journey and loving the advice to spend lots of time nappy free when you can. We did this yesterday and had lots of accidents but at the end of the day, without prompting E sat on the potty and did a poo.

FAQ

  • Is there a best or even correct time to start potty training?

The right age to start potty training is very individual. Most children are out of nappies between the age of 2 and 3 years old. Some start earlier, and some later. Start too soon and it could take a long time. This course will help you to know what is right for your child.

  • My child uses a potty for wees, but wants a nappy on to do a poo. What can we do?

This is really normal. Letting go of poos can be more difficult. It is psychological. This course gives you tips and understanding of how to manage this situation.

  • My little boy is 4 and just doesn’t seem to be getting it at all. He starts school in September and I’m so worried.

Every child is different. This course will give you lots of tools and tips on how to support your child, and to help you feel more relaxed and confident to follow your unique child.

  • My child is out of nappies during the day, but not at night. Is it still worth doing this course?

Yes. There is a really helpful section on night time, which covers what is normal, and tips and strategies. You might also find the sections on 'Common hiccups' and 'Individual differences' useful. The course is in sections so you can just look at the ones you are interested in.

  • If I sign up, but my child is not ready to start, how long do I have to access the course?

Indefinitely. There is no time limit. You can also send me questions.
